Golden Globes: On The Red Carpet

(NBCNC) - Red always gets attention, especially in fashion, and the Golden Globes were no exception.

For Zooey Deschanel, red came via Oscar de la Renta, while Globe winner and new mom Claire Danes was adorned in Versace.

Another Globe winner, Julianne Moore wearing Tom Ford, was among the stars making black the fashion  statement, as was Nicole Kidman, in a gown from Alexander McQueen.

Also turning heads was Supporting Actress winner Anne Hathaway in Chanel.

Halle Berry's one shoulder gown from Versace sparked some fashion debate, as did Jessica Chastain's seafoam green gown by Calvin Klein.

Jennifer Lopez's sheer gown by Zuhair Murad grabbed attention, as did Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, but fans looking for major misfires may have been disappointed.
