ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) - A fiery crash involving a tractor-trailer prompted the closure of a stretch of Interstate 4 just south of State Road 408 in the Orlando area.
Orlando police said the tractor-trailer hit a road sign around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
All westbound lanes were closed for nearly four hours. Two of the lanes were opened just after 7 a.m.
The truck was carrying sweet potatoes to a Publix store. The produce was strewn all over the interstate.
Crews worked to clean up the 75 to 100 gallons of spilled diesel fuel off the roadway.
