VT: Fire destroys 150-year-old farm

BERLIN, Vermont (CNN) - Check out these stunning iReport pictures of a fire at a 150 year old ranch in Berlin, Vermont. IReporter Mark Collier captured these spectacular images late Wednesday night.

The farm belongs to the Townes and has been in the family for three generations.

Fire investigators say a piece of farm equipment started the blaze.

Flames spread quickly through the dry, wood structures, completely engulfing the barn and house within minutes.
No family members or animals were injured in the fire. But the home and attached barn burned to the ground, reduced to charred rubble.

Insurance will cover the Towne family's losses, but can never replace generations of photos and mementos lost in the blaze.
