Calm, sweet and snuggly with people, Xena is like a giant teddy bear. Giant is an appropriate description at more than 100 pounds! Xena loves attention and belly rubs. And in exchange, she will give plenty of kisses.

Xena is an ideal companion for someone who is home most of the time and wants a loving companion. Indoors Xena is calm and quiet and when she gets outside her youthful exuberance perks up and she is ready to explore.

In addition to being big, Xena is very strong. While she loves to go for walks, Xena doesn’t have the best leash manners but she calms down once she gets her pace. Never too old for training classes, Xena believes you can teach an older dog new tricks.

Because she found the kennel environment to be very stressful, Xena has been living in a foster home until her forever homes welcomes her. She would prefer to be the queen of her castle. Xena would do best as the only pet in an adult only home.
