Color: Alan is tan. John is black.

These two adorable puppies had been in foster care while mom raised them up right and now she, and we at Dakin, are awaiting new human families to adopt and take over where mom left off. They are sweet, cuddly, friendly and quiet pups who, even when all grown up, will weigh under 10 pounds. We gave them astronaut names because their cuteness quotient will send anyone into orbit!
Would love an adorable dog but perhaps a little older than an itty-bitty, the Dixie’s are back! The first arrivals since the tornado in June cruised into Dakin this weekend. Most are mid-sized dogs, lovely mixes, ranging from six months to young adult.

Events and Update

• The first Dixie Dogs since June have arrived and will be available Tuesday, January 10th.
• January is National Train Your Dog Month. Dakin has lots of classes from basic manners to Canine Good Citizen. Just for fun classes like agility, trick and rally are available too. More details and online registration available.
