Annie has been with Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society for six long weeks. She has been shuttled between the Leverett and Springfield adoption centers in an effort to keep her spirits up. But for dogs, six weeks in a kennel environment is a very long time and Annie is beginning to show the stress. The staff has gotten to know Annie so well and she has become a favorite because of her sweet demeanor and always happy to cuddle personality.

And while a Jack Russell mix, she’s really not a high energy dog. A couple of nice walks a day would be all she needs and then it’s back to snuggle time. When Annie gets pet, her eyes get all squinty and she leans in so relaxed and happy. She just loves to be close to people and really misses being part of a family. Please come and meet Annie.
