SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The 12th annual 94.7 WMAS Children's Miracle Network Radiothon is already underway, raising money that will stay right here in western Massachusetts to benefit sick children.

The event raises money to benefit Baystate Children’s Hospital; the only general hospital facility in western Massachusetts dedicated solely to the care of children. There are 28,000 visits to Baystate Children’s Hospital each year.

By phone, you can pledge an amount by calling (413) 794-1111.

You can also make an automatic $10 donation by texting “ Baystate” to 50555.

You can also donate online by going to their website at baystatehealth.org/radiothon .

Your donation can be as little as 66 cents per day; far less than the cost of a cup of coffee!

If you’re listening to the Radiothon live, you will hear some emotional stories over the next three days from families that have been helped by Baystate Children’s Hospital.
