CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - WWLP's Search for a Star 10 Semi-Finalists Announced

Our panel of judges have selected the following individuals as the 10 semi-finalists in WWLP's search to find a host of a new, local program airing this spring on WWLP-22News.

• Chelsea Choi of Hampden
• Christine Johnson of Springfield
• Lopez of West Springfield
• Nate Luscombe of Springfield
• Todd Messinger of South Hadley
• Alex Miranda of Worcester
• Meghan Rothschild of Northampton
• Ashley Sattler of Holyoke
• Alicia Zitka of West Springfield

Over the coming week, the 10 semi-finalists will be asked to return to our 22News Studios for more on-camera work and some additional interviews. The field of 10 will later be narrowed down to five finalists.

This process began on March 13, 2010 when open auditions were held. 156 applicants were then narrowed down to 20 semi-finalists.

The individual ultimately selected from the talent search will be offered a full-time employment contract by WWLP.
