POSITION: Assistant News Director (#386)

JOB DESCRIPTION: WWLP-22News, Springfield, MA, a LIN Media station, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Assistant News Director.  The successful candidate will be someone who is highly motivated and can lead by example, as well as willing to be involved in the community.  Candidate should also possess good news instinct and demonstrate sound news judgment, including skilled in investigative reporting.  They also need to be able to recognize the value of and embrace internet, mobile, and social media.
 

HOURS: TBD

PRIOR EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years prior television experience required; must have good communication skills and ability to supervise/train.
