About the Peking Acrobats:

The Court Of Honor Stage, sponsored by Comcast, is home to exciting entertainment for the whole family throughout the course of this year’s Big E. All entertainment is free, and audiences can enjoy an array of different entertainers who are sure to impress fairgoers of all ages.

The Stars of the Peking Acrobats appear daily at 11am, 1 and 6:30pm, September 14 - 30. The Peking Acrobats push the human body to the extreme, bringing years of acrobatic arts experience to Western Mass. Since 1986, they have been performing mind-boggling tricks that involve flexibility, strength and control; trick-cycling, tumbling, balancing, and gymnastics to name a few.

September 14-16 at 3 & 8pm, The Righteous Brothers’ Billy Medley will be appearing. The raw emotional rhythm and blues sound made The Righteous Brothers, Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield, an unmistakable duo.  In the mid-1960s, they became a fixture on Top Forty radio.  Their hits include “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin,” “Unchained Melody” and “(You’re My) Soul and Inspiration.” In 2003, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Medley received an Oscar, a Golden Globe, Video of The Year, and a Grammy for his hit “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing with Jennifer Warnes.

Performing, September 17-21 at 3 & 8 pm with his 1970’s mega hit “Hey There Lonely Girl,” Eddie Holman has played at Carnegie Hall and other prestige venues.  He has the ability to touch everyone’s soul with his classic music and love songs. 

Joey Molland, formerly of BADFINGER, will be appearing September 22-26 at 3 & 8pm. As an original songwriter and performer in iconic British rock band, Joey Molland has made his mark in music with hits like “Come and Get It” and “No Matter What.”  He has collaborated with George Harrison (All Things Must Pass) and John Lennon (Imagine) and has released three solo albums, After the Pearl, The Pilgrim and This Way Up. 

Shannon will be performing September 27-30 at 3 & 8pm. Her smash hit, “Let the Music Play,” still ranks #23 on Billboard’s Best Dance Songs of All Time. It catapulted Shannon into the music scene in the early 80s and became one of the largest club anthems of the time. It hit #8 on Billboard’s HOT 100 (POP), #1 on the Hot Dance and Club Play R&B Chart and sold over 8 million copies worldwide.
