Celebrate the Ware Fall Festival!

WARE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Great food, livley music and a celebration of fall all come together this weekend in Ware at their Fall Fest Celebration!

Two of the event volunteers, Joel Harder and Chef Joseph Raymond, Head Chef at Gheppetto's Grille gave us a preview of the festival and cooked up one of the delicious dishes you'll find there!

Ware Fall Festival
Saturday, October 6th
2:00pm to 7:00pm
Main Street, Ware

Carbonara:

Ingredients:

• 3 egg yolks
• 1 shallott, thinly sliced
• 1 pinch parsley
• 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 5oz. panchetta
• 5 oz cooked pasta of your choice
• Touch of heavy cream
• 3oz. Parmegiano Cheese, grated
• Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Saute the panchetta and shallots in olive oil until golden (approximately 2 minutes on high heat)
2. Slowly add a touch of cream then the cooked pasta of your choice.
3. Add in the egg yolks and stir very quickly to prevent the egg from scrambling
4. Add Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle parsley on top. Enjoy!
