WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Firefighters are our everyday heroes who protect the public by responding to fires and other emergencies. All week long we're cooking with local firefighters for a taste of what it's like to be a firefighter.

We visited the West Springfield Fire Department and spoke with Lt. Andrew Lyne, who shared more about their department and showed us how they come together around the dinner table!
