About Treats for Troops:
Our Treats For Troops program is an opportunity for all Trick-or-Treaters to donate their Halloween candy to American troops overseas. This is a terrific chance for even the smallest of children to feel like they're a part of something that's bigger than all of us.
How It Works
We set aside a specific window of time on the first two working days after Halloween for children to bring their candy to our office in Holyoke and in turn they enter their names into a raffle. For each pound of candy they turn in - they'll get a chance at the raffle.
This year, the raffle prizes are:
Every child will also receive a free toothbrush and will also be able to sign up for a tour of Barnes! The candy is then brought to the 104th Family Readiness Group at Barnes Air Force Base where it is packaged and shipped to the troops overseas.
