Valley Gives: Amelia Park Ice Arena

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Valley Gives is a one-of-a-kind celebration of generosity for western Massachusetts, a unique 24-hour online campaign that you can be a part of.

On 12-12-12 residents of Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties will join together for special events and online campaigns.

Kristin Leutz, Vice President of Philanthropic Services and Carole Appleton, Executive Director of the Amelia Park Ice Arena & Garden in Westfield, shared more about what residents can do to help important nonprofits in our area.

How it Works:

When donors come to the Valley Gives website between 12 AM and 11:59 PM on 12.12.12, they will be able to make gifts to their favorite nonprofits. At the end of 24 hours, the top three nonprofits that have raised the most money and the top three nonprofits that have the most donors will be rewarded with special grants of $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000. The nonprofit in 12th place in each category will receive $1,200. In addition to those prizes, participating nonprofits will be eligible for special bonus gifts given between 11am and midnight to randomly selected winners.
