CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - April is Autism Awareness month and events will be going all month long. George Rosa, the 2013 chair for Walk Now for Autism Speaks joined us to share more.

Starting on April 2nd the event "Light It Up Blue" will take place. National and international buildings and land-marks will "light it up blue" by using blue light bulbs to light their buildings at night.

On April 7th UMASS will hold a 5K run and 3K walk for Autism awareness. The registration fee is $20 and the event will take place at Kendrick Park, Amherst Center.
