Protect your home this winter

Tips for winter home protection:

• Watch out for 'Ice Damming'
• Check gutters and clean gutters
• Don't allow exhaust vents to be covered with snow
• Tune up heating system, get oil tank insurance if older
• Help prevent plumbing leaks
• Insulate pipes in un-heated spaces
• Trim trees away from home
• Check and clean chimney, cut wood and prepare in case power goes out.
