SOMERS, Conn. (Mass Appeal) - You might be heading out for 4th of July fireworks and if you do, you need to keep you pet safe. Dog trainer Scot Masamery from Bark Busters Home Dog Training in Somers, Connecticut offers some tips to keep your pet safe and sound this holiday season.

4th of July Pet Safety Tips

  • Leave dog at Home
  • Don't leave then in the car
  • Keep the proper I.D.
  • Keep dog away from doors
  • Keep windows and curtains closed
  • Turn on TV or radio
  • Stay with pet
  • Consider a pet sitter
