AMHERST, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - The cultural myth of the "Good Mother" sets unrealistic expectations for mothers, causing 1 in 4 mom's to suffer from postpartum depression. The United States has among the highest rates of maternal depression in the world and to share their stories are Beth Spong, Executive Director of MotherWoman and Wanda Sanchez-Miller and Jackie McNeish, local survivors of PPD.
