How to get your kids to stop swearing

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - It's a parent's worst nightmare, your child is finally talking, but he or she uses a swear word and it embarrasses you. So how do we combat potty language?
Parenting expert Bill Corbett from Cooperative Kids shared some tips on how to clean up our kids mouths.
When a young child uses a "potty" word:
- Don't over react
- Ignore it if you can or leave the room
- Find fun replacements
- Be calm, clear, and firm for bad word
