SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Meet Mass Appeal's pet of the week!
Name: Daisy
Breed: Labrador Retriever / Shepherd Mix
Age: 10-years-old
Sex: Spayed Female
Color: Buff
About Daisy:
I'm an even tempered and mellow girl who has had some sadness in my life. My person passed away recently. Though the folks here at Dakin are real nice, I've been quite anxious about losing my person and ending up in the adoption center. I was housetrained in my previous home and lived with another older dog and a cat. I enjoy going for leisurely walks or spending time leaning next to someone who will give me lots of pets. I lived with older adults my whole life and have no previous experience with young children, so a family with adults or older, mature kids would be best.
Pet Health & Safety Day (BULLET POINT)
Sunday, March 3rd
Three workshops are offered. Participants can select one or all!
Senior Petizen - Old age is a condition…not a disease. This course will teach you to create a lifestyle for your pet that minimizes the risk of illness, injury and disease and, at the same time, maximizes the quality of his life and your relationship with him.
Pet First Aid and CPR - Learn how to save your pet's life with simple, proven first aid techniques. Learn what to do if your pet is bleeding, choking, suffering from heat stroke, in shock, or has a broken bone.
Pet Dental Care - Did you know that with good dental health, you pet's life could be extended by 30%? This is a great class to help maintain your pet's dental health and live longer.
