NEW YORK, NY (Mass Appeal) - According to a survey conducted by Valassis marketing, in the first half of 2011, consumers have saved over two-billion dollars using coupons. The world of coupon clipping is rapidly changing, and offers great savings if you know how to use them. Jill Cataldo is "The Super Coupon Queen," and she' told Mass Appeal about the latest and greatest in couponing.

Find out:
-How to pile your coupons together for the greatest discounts without running into annoying limits
-When to pounce on those new "daily deal" coupons for real savings
-How much you can still do with the classic coupons from the newspaper
-How to get new digital coupons without having to clip or print paper coupons

Some Couponing Tips:
-The week you receive a coupon may not be the best time to use it. This is especially true for the coupons that come in the newspaper inserts. While most people are inclined to use a coupon the week they receive it, stores are aware of this too. Many stores are aware of what coupon promotions are coming up, and they leave their products at higher prices intentionally. Even with your coupon, you may not be getting the best deal that week. Hang onto your coupon, then use it when sale prices drop a few weeks later.

-Don't throw away your coupon inserts. Many people will cut out what they think they'll use, then throw the rest of the coupons away. Coupon shoppers know that holding onto all of the coupons, even for items you think you won't buy, can pay off later. For example, toothpaste often goes on sale for $1. While that $1 toothpaste coupon isn't much of a deal-maker when the toothpaste is $2.99, when it goes on sale for $1, the coupon will net you a free tube.

-Stock up during good sales. When prices are low, and you've lowered them with coupons even more, stock up a little bit. Instead of buying one jar of pasta sauce, buy three... or six. You'll build a small stockpile of your most-used pantry staples, and you also won't be forced to pay full price later when the pricing cycle takes a rise.

How to save big bucks with the coolest new coupons!
As the economy stays lukewarm, America's love for coupons just keeps getting hotter. This "National Coupon Month" our use of coupons is seeing its best year ever…again!
An eMarketer survey finds that almost half of all internet users, 88.2 million of us, will use online coupons in 2011 and those numbers are going up every year. At the same time, traditional paper coupons are going gangbusters too, meaning more ways to save. And coupons aren't just for folks who are struggling either. A Nielsen study discovered that people with higher incomes became more likely to be "heavy" or "super heavy" coupon users.
