Local talent on NBC's "The Voice": Michelle Brooks-Thompson

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - NBC's The Voice is one of the hottest shows on television right now and one very talented western Mass resident is getting recognized for her incredible voice on national TV.
Michelle Brooks-Thompson is on Team Adam and she stopped by Studio 1A to talk about her experience so far!
About Michelle:
Michelle stood behind her husband as he tried to achieve his dreams of playing professional football. Though he was signed to the St. Louis Rams, he was cut before he ever got a chance to play. Now, as Michelle pursues her own lifelong dream of becoming a professional singer, he is the one supporting her.
Michelle studied vocal performance and piano at Mt. Holyoke College and has a Bachelor's in music.
Michelle loves Whitney Houston and wants to eventually pursue acting one day as well.
