Printing and Binding Tips:
Pre-press, printing, and binding transform your edited and formatted files into bound books with covers.
Pre-press is the conversion of a formatted file into the format preferred by most printers today (trouble-free PDF, portable document file), using technical specifications from the printer chosen for your book. It is also called make-ready.
Printing is the duplication of the manuscript and images onto paper.
Binding is the gathering and securing of pages. The application of a protective case or cover is part of the binding.
