Anaridis Rodriguez's Flan

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Every Monday some familiar faces from 22News will be sharing their favorite recipes with you!

22News Reporter Anaridis Rodriguez joined Seth and Ashley in the Mass Appeal kitchen to show us how to make one of her favorite desserts, flan!

Anaridis Rodriguez's Flan

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 cans of evaporated milk (12 oz.)
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Rum
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Cinnamon Sugar

Directions:

  1. Put an inch of water into a large pan, place the molds within the pan and and set it on an oven rack.
  2. Set the oven to 350 degrees
  3. No need to preheat. Bake for one hour.
  4. Make the usual test for doneness by inserting a knife. If it comes out clean, then the flan has fully cooked.
