Apple and Kale Chips!

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Halloween doesn't just have to be filled with candy and sweets. Ashley and Seth made some healthy apple and kale chips!

Apple Chips

Ingredients:

  • Apples
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • Sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Slice apples on a mandolin
  3. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper
  4. Lay apples on sheet pan
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar if you want
  6. Cook for 3-4 hours until apple chips are crispy
  7. Enjoy!

Kale Chips

Ingredients:

  • Kale
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Break up kale and place on baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on top, salt and pepper
  4. Cook for 20 minutes
  5. Let cool and enjoy!
