CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Valentine's Day is not just for adults, it's important to make your kids feel loved too! Liz Corbett, the Party Hostess Diva, showed us some cute afternoon snacks for your kids!
Lowfat Cupcakes
Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 ( 8 oz.) container, fat free, plain greek yogurt
1 cup of water
Directions:
Mix cake mix, yogurt and water until smooth, pour into paper lined cupcake/muffin tins and bake as directed on package.
When cupcakes are cool, frost with Chocolate Avacado pudding, (as seen on segment) or your favorite icing. Or dust with powdered sugar for a low fat lower sugar alternative.
Chocolate Avocado Pudding Dip
Ingredients:
3 ripe avocados
1/3 cup cocoa or cacao powder
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
Vanilla (a few drops of organic vanilla extract)
Cinnamon (a pinch)
Directions:
1. Put everything into a food processor
2. Process until desired texture
3. Serve chilled or at room temperature
4. Enjoy!
