Yoojin Cho's Bacon Carbonara

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - Every Monday some familiar faces from 22News will be sharing their favorite recipes with you!

22 News Reporter Yoojin Cho joined Seth in the Mass Appeal kitchen to show us how to make one of her favorite recipes, bacon carbonara.

Yoojin Cho's Bacon Carbonara

Ingredients:

• 1 pound, bacon
• 1 box, linguini or thin spaghetti
• Mushrooms
• 6-8 eggs
• 1 cup, shredded parmesan cheese
• ½ cup, grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Chop and fry bacon and add mushrooms, as well as other items you like – Zucchini, Asparagus, Broccoli, etc. Other veggies are completely optional.
2. Boil water, start cooking the pasta while the bacon is frying.
3. Crack eggs into a large bowl
4. Add cheese and whisk until well-combined
5. Drain noodles, pour over the egg mixture, mix
6. Add bacon and other veggies
7. Enjoy!
