Three dead in Quantico shooting

QUANTICO, Vir. (NBCNC) - Three Marines are dead following a murder-suicide at Marine Base Quantico in Virginia.

Officials tell NBC News the deaths stemmed from a love triangle, and were not a random act of violence.

All three worked at the officer's candidates school.

When police responded to the scene they found one Marine dead.

They later found the body of the gunman and the female victim in another room.

It appears that the gunman committed suicide.
