SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - If you're wondering where the next generation of Welders, Plumbers and Carpenters will come from, those kids attended a hands-on camp at Springfield Technical Community College.

The hands-on camp grew out of a program called Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs, created by Actor John Ratzenberger of "Cheers" fame.

The teenagers interested in creating products first designed their creations on a computer screen and then high-tech machinery took over and actually built their products.
