AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - The Sisters of Providence Health System unveiled its new Mercy Hearing Center in Agawam, Wednesday.

The original location is in Springfield.

Now patients will have a more convenient place to receive treatment for their hearing problems.

"People are social and they need to hear and people that are not hearing well tend to isolate themselves and that's what we're trying to help," said Lois Osetek, the manager of the hearing center.

"I think this is very nice, it's very convenient for me to come over the bridge and it's so beautifully done and new," said Shirley Burke, Longmeadow.

The new location will provide the same care from licensed and certified audiologists.
