Fatal rollover in West Bridgewater

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (AP) - One woman is dead and another has suffered serious injuries after a vehicle they were traveling in lost control and rolled over in West Bridgewater.

State Police say 34-year-old Ginger Santos from Raynham suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the Saturday morning crash.

Thirty-five-year-old Tanya Terry from Taunton was seriously injured and flown to a Boston hospital for treatment.

Police say officers responded to the crash scene on Route 24 South in West Bridgewater at 9:47 a.m.

The southbound lane was closed for about two hours as authorities investigated the accident and worked to remove the vehicle.

Authorities have asked anyone who witnessed the crash to call state police.
