Baby shaken to death

ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. (WCAU) - A 19-year old man will make his first appearance in court after being charged with shaking his girlfriends baby boy to death.

Dequan Davis is charged with manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say Davis was caring for the child while the mother was at work.

Investigators say when the mother arrived home she found her son unresponsive and the child was pronounced dead.

Davis is currently being held on $750,000 bail.
