Savers opens in West Springfield
Thrift store helps shoppers save money

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - There were plenty of bargains on hand at the grand opening of Savers in West Springfield.
The thrift store opened Thursday on Memorial Avenue near Bob's Discount Furniture store.
A selection of clothing, footwear, handbags, housewares, and board games were on sale at discounted prices.
The 55 year old store is a private for-profit company that benefits more than 114 local non-profit organizations by purchasing and reselling items.
Store hours in West Springfield are Mon-Sat. 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
