NORWICH, Conn. (AP) - Two eastern Connecticut men have been arrested for trying to rob a couple with a toy gun.
The Bulletin reports that Norwich police say Daron Henry and Jordan Nicholas approached a couple and asked for money. Henry brandished a gun, but police say that when he struck the man with the gun it broke into pieces.
The men, both 19 and from Norwich, fled.
Henry was charged with first-degree robbery, assault, breach of peace and brandishing a facsimile firearm.
Jordan faces similar charges.
As of Thursday, they were not yet represented by lawyers.
