BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Three men are held on $1 million bail in the fatal shooting of a Bridgeport man during an alleged robbery attempt in 2009.

Twenty-year-old Craig Waddell and 20-year-old Hank Palmer of Bridgeport and 22-year-old Michael Lomax of West Haven were arraigned Wednesday in Superior Court on charges of felony murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.

They were arrested Wednesday in the killing of 20-year-old Kevin Soler, whose body was found behind a school.

The Connecticut Post reports an arrest warrant affidavit says Soler's girlfriend told police she, Soler and another man had driven there to make a drug deal. She said she heard gunshots after Soler got out of the car and confronted a man she didn't know.

It's not immediately known who is representing the men, who return to court Aug. 7.
