ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) - A big jackpot winner has come to claim their millions of dollars in lottery winnings.

Noel and Fredda Peel of Seymour had the winning ticket from the June 23rd Powerball drawing, and won the $60 million jackpot.

Noel Peel told reporters that he rarely plays.

"This is a total shock," he said.

The Quick Pick ticket was sold at John's Deli in Seymour, "a great place to get a bacon, egg and cheese," Peel joked. The owner of the deli received a $100,000 check from the CT Lottery.

This is the second largest prize won in Connecticut Lottery history.

The last Seymour winner was in 2005; they took home $59 million.

Lottery officials remind players that on May 3 someone won $1000 a day, but so far no one has come forward to claim the prize.
