NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — The National Weather Service says a storm moving into Connecticut could bring freezing rain.
The weather service said the storm will mostly bring rain to the state but there could be some light snow and possibly light freezing rain Friday night into Saturday morning in some parts of the state before temperatures rise above freezing. That would result in slippery travel.
About an inch of snow was forecast.
The weather service said a winter storm watch for Massachusetts could be extended further south.
