MANCHESTER, Conn. (AP) - Police say a 14-year-old student has died after he was pulled from a Manchester High School swimming pool during a swim class.
Manchester police Capt. Chris Davis said the freshman student was participating in a class led by a physical education teacher Wednesday morning when he was found under water. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Offiicals have not released the student's identity.
Davis said it is too soon to say exactly what happened and a full review will be conducted.
