BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - A Bridgeport man has been charged with murder after a body was found inside his vehicle.
Police tell the Connecticut Post 41-year-old James Cunningham was seen putting the body into a basket attached to his Hummer after a shooting early Monday on Worth Street.
Police tracked Cunningham to another home near some woods and found the body still inside that basket. They say Cunningham was apparently preparing to dispose of the body.
Family member told the Post the victim was Daniel Speller, who lived on Worth Street.
Police Capt. James Viadero says the two men had allegedly been involved in a dispute over money.
Cunningham was ordered held in lieu of $1 million bond and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
