Cops: Man allegedly assaulted teen he met through iPhone app

AVON, Conn. (WTNH) - An Avon man was arrested after meeting with a teenage boy and allegedly sexually assaulting him.

According to police, 25-year-old Andrew Quinn met the 15-year-old boy through an iPhone app called " Grindr."

Quinn then arranged to pick up the teen in a surrounding town and drove back to Quinn's Avon home where the alleged sex assault occurred.

Quinn was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

He was released on a $25,000 bond.
