GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) - A 71-year-old woman was arrested for prostitution after allegedly placing an ad online promoting herself in an escort section.
Sygun Liebhart was arrested Friday in her hotel room at the Homewood Suites in Glastonbury.
According to police, Liebhart placed an ad on "Backpage.com" promoting herself under the escort section as "Lola."
A location of Liebhart's hotel room was specified in the ad, and once a deal for sexual acts was arranged surveillance units took Liebhart into custody, police said.
Liebhart, 71, of 80 Easton Rd., Westport, was charged with prostitution.
Bond was set at $500.
