WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) - Police say a Chicago man who met a teenage Massachusetts girl on the Internet flew to Connecticut and sexually assaulted her at a hotel.

Windsor Locks police charged 29-year-old Mani Batchu with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor Wednesday. Police say Batchu turned himself in after learning there was a warrant for his arrest.

Authorities say Batchu surrendered after being charged with similar crimes by police in Amherst, Mass., and posting bail there.

Police say Batchu flew from Chicago to Connecticut in May, then drove to Amherst to pick up the 15-year-old girl and returned with her to Connecticut.

He was arraigned in Connecticut on Thursday and posted $10,000 bail. A phone listing for him could not be found.
