Crews battle house fire in Easthampton

Easthampton Firefighters battled a blaze earlier this morning at a house on Loudville Road. 

Firefighters from Northampton and Westhampton were called in as well.

Easthampton Fire Chief David Mottor told 22News that it started in the chimney shortly before 7am this morning and spread to the walls.

One person was in the house at the time when a passerby saw the fire, and warned the person inside to get out.

No one was injured, but the house did sustain some damage.
