Chicopee couple arrested for a large amount of drugs

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police say they caught a Chicopee couple with a large amount of drugs.

Sgt. John Delaney told 22News, police arrested James Yates and Jackeline Quintana at the Mobile Convenience Gas Station on Main Street Friday evening.

Sgt. Delaney told 22News detectives seized 500 bags of heroin, 140 bags of crack cocaine and nearly $900 in cash.

Both suspects were charged with possession with intent to distibute and violation of a drug free school zone.
