Flames were shooting out of the upper floors of the three-story brick building on Capen Street when firefighters arrived at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters were able to get everyone out of the building and got the fire under control in about a half hour. Much of the building is damaged.

The names and conditions of the adults and child haven't been released.
