EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Four people are homeless following a fire at 393 Pease Road in East Longmeadow Wednesday afternoon.

Neighbors reported seeing smoke coming from the home just before 4 p.m.

No one was at home at the time of the fire but two animals were inside at the time.

The house was severely damaged and firefighters have been working to put out hot spots.
