WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - An R-V burst into flames near Hampton Ponds State Park in Westfield on Saturday.

Westfield Fire Captain Paul Lentini told 22News the driver noticed smoke and pulled the RV over on East Mountain Road at Route 202.

Moments later the RV was fully engulfed in flames.

Nobody was hurt but the camper is totaled.

Captain Lentini said the intense heat from the fire burned nearby power lines, interrupting power to a few homes.

No word on what caused the fire.
