CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Chicopee Police are investigating a robbery at a convenience store that was already robbed earlier this week.

Officers were called to the 7-Eleven store on Granby Road Wednesday morning around 5:30 A.M.

Chicopee Police Lt. Mark Higgins told 22News that they arrested Robert Pelletier, 25, of Holyoke, who was using a metal bar to rob the store. When police surrounded the store, Higgins says Pelletier climbed onto the roof, and firefighters had to help get him down.

Higgins says that detectives have tied Pelletier to three other recent robberies in Chicopee, including one at the same 7-Eleven store on Monday.
