Chicopee police looking to identify alleged 7-Eleven robber

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Chicopee police are looking for the public’s help to identify the man they say robbed a convenience store just after midnight Sunday.

Detective Timothy Foley told 22News that the man, armed with a black handgun, robbed the 7-Eleven store on Granby Road at 12:30 Sunday morning.

The suspect stole cash, and then ran away. No one was injured.

Police have released two surveillance photos of the suspect, who is described as an African American man in his upper 20’s or lower 30’s. He’s about 5’9” tall and weighs about 170 lbs.
