GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Police in Greenfield have arrested a man that they say admitted to two convenience store robberies.
Greenfield Police Detective Lieutenant David McCarthy notified 22News that Nathan Rogers, 23, of Northfield, is being charged with two counts of armed robbery while masked.
On Saturday, McCarthy says a masked suspect, reportedly armed with a handgun, had robbed the Cumberland Farms store on Main Street. On Monday, a similar robbery was reported at the Hess station on Federal Street.
On Tuesday, McCarthy says officers found Rogers, who matched the suspect’s description, inside his car. Officers questioned him at the station, and according to McCarthy, Rogers admitted to committing both robberies and was arrested.
